Others appear to be still there as when I use QSELECT I can select them however cant see them. This also happens with any new hatch I draw, only solid ones will work. I can then globally and manually change them in the properties dialog. This is particularly useful when adjusting hatch scales. I'm not worried about layers, colors etc. Just these two properties.
