WebJun 15, 2016 · mhelm. My 2001 F450 non-commerical truck had the clutch fan lock up to on position. Replaced last week, hauling a big load for 600 miles and when going up hills under load oil temp would increase to 255 deg f on the highest, typically it was around 249 deg, up hill then fall back down to 230 deg.
